This project was inspired by the adventure of Alice in Wonderland. The offspring was an inspiration from the caterpillar. I used this to design 3 pieces of jewellery. I was especially drawn by opals who resemble the atmosphere in the film. In the pieces of jewellery the opals are surrounded by metal that symbolizes the caterpillar’s sneaking and crawling around. The colors of the opals and zirconias are a tribute to Alice and symbolize sincerity, affection, hope and goodness.
