Welcome to a journey through Nous Studio - a groundbreaking project inspired by the UN's Sustainable Development Goal number 5 on gender equality. Our mission has been to challenge traditional perceptions of fashion and create a space where gender is not a limitation, but rather an open door to diversity and freedom.

In a time where the face of fashion is rapidly changing, we have founded Nous Studio as an experiment in gender neutrality. Our vision is a world where jewellery is not divided into "his" and "hers," but simply into "us" - a universal expression of self-expression and individuality.

From concept to production and sales, we have pursued a holistic approach where sustainability, ethics, and gender neutrality are fundamental values. Each piece of jewellery in our collection is a tribute to craftsmanship and unique expression, handmade with care and love by our team.

  • Business

    Change Hypothesis and Sustainable Development Goal (SDG): Our project began with the hypothesis that there is a lack of jewellery brands inclusive of all genders. We aimed to address this gap by creating a gender-neutral jewellery universe, aligning with Sustainable Development Goal 5 on gender equality.

    Trend Research: Extensive trend research highlighted the increasing openness to diversity and the growing demand for gender-neutral products in today's society. This trend provided a strategic opportunity for our brand to emerge and thrive.

    Business Concept - BMC (Business Model Canvas): Our business model is built on the foundation of inclusivity and sustainability. We focus on direct-to-consumer sales, with a lean production model that minimizes waste and carbon emissions. Our key revenue streams include online sales, pop-up events, and collaborations with like-minded partners who share our values.

  • DESIGN

    Persona: We developed personas representing individuals across various genders and age groups who value individuality and self-expression through their accessories. These personas guided our design decisions and marketing strategies.

    POV (Point of View) HMW (How Might We): Our design process began with defining a clear point of view on the problem we aimed to solve: How might we create a jewelry collection that transcends traditional gender norms and celebrates individuality?

    Design Drivers: Our design drivers revolved around concepts of comfort, minimalism, and versatility. We aimed to create jewelry that could be seamlessly integrated into anyone's daily life, regardless of gender, while still making a bold statement.

    Moodboard: Our moodboard visually captured the essence of our brand, showcasing imagery and aesthetics that reflected our commitment to inclusivity, simplicity, and timeless design.

  • Technology

    At the core of our production process was the artistry of handcrafting wax prototypes and designs. Each intricate detail of our jewellery pieces was meticulously sculpted, breathing life into our concepts and allowing us to refine our designs with a tactile, hands-on approach.

    Building upon our handcrafted wax prototypes, we developed rubber molds to ensure consistency and reproducibility in our production process. These molds captured the essence of our designs, enabling us to replicate our creations with precision and efficiency.

    Embracing a sustainable ethos, we adopted an on-demand production model for the majority of our jewellery. By crafting items only as orders were received, we minimized waste and excess inventory, while also maintaining financial stability and adaptability to market demands.

    Every piece of jewellery was crafted with care and devotion in the heart of Copenhagen. Our dedication to preserving traditional techniques ensured that each creation carried a sense of authenticity and soul, resonating with our commitment to quality and sustainability. Through the fusion of handcrafted artistry and modern technology, we forged a path towards sustainable, ethically produced jewellery that embodied the values of creativity, innovation, and social responsibility.

We were thrilled to share the success of the launch event for our jewellery brand, NOUS STUDIO. The event was held in a beautiful venue on Bredgade, where we created an inviting atmosphere with the help of generous sponsorships that provided drinks for our guests. We extended invitations to key industry figures, our esteemed instructors, and our supportive family and friends who were eager to see our jewelry collection.

The launch event turned out to be an incredible success, with a full house of enthusiastic attendees. It was during this event that we made the majority of our sales and received numerous orders for our pieces, which we later produced. The support and positive response from everyone present were overwhelming, marking a significant milestone for NOUS STUDIO. Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making our launch a memorable occasion!
